Home Information Pack
It is necessary for anyone selling a house or flat to prepare a Home Information Pack (HIP) before the property can be advertised for sale.
Before you put your house on the market speak to us about HIPs.
The HIP consists of a number of items being mainly legal documents and an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC).
On being instructed to deal with the sale of your property we will be able to arrange production of the entire HIP including the EPC. As we do not pay referral fees the HIP will be charged to you at cost price.
FOR A PROPERTY IN FLINTSHIRE THE COST OF A HIP IS £199 INCLUDING VAT.
You will receive legal advice on your sale from day one. We will advise you where we think that the HIP should contain further documents such as additional searches or explanatory documents. We will vet each component of the HIP and highlight any potential problems before they cause any difficulty.
