Lasting Powers of Attorney

A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document that allows someone to choose other people who they want to make decisions or take actions on their behalf in case there comes a time when they lack mental or physical capacity.

We can provide advice and assist in the making of an LPA that deals with property and financial affairs.

Before an LPA can be used it has to be registered with the Office of the Public Guardian. We can deal with the application procedure and ensure that any appropriate notices are properly served.
